David Paymer is an American actor born August 30, 1954. He began his acting career in 1979 and made his big breakthrough in 1991 with City Slickers together with Billy Crystal. He acted together with Billy Crystal again in 1992 in Mr. Saturday night which earned David Paymer an Oscar nomination for best actor in a supporting role in 1993. Besides being an actor, Paymer has also directed episodes of several popular TV-series such as Grey's anatomy, Gilmore girls, One tree hill, Melrose place and Everwood.
