Before his breakthrough on the screen as the police psychiatrist Dr. Emil Skoda in Law and Order in 1944, Simmons was a Broadway actor and singer. Besides acting in movies, J.K. Simmons provides the voice of the yelloe M & M in their commercial and plays the U.S. president Howard T. Ackerman in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 video game.
